Monument erected nearby in memory of Russian PoW's. "Viernaja Slawa Herojom" = "Faithful Glory to Heroes". At the foot of the monument (not visible here) is an inscription, (please compare to the Polish Memorial inscription above!) "In memory of one thousand Russian soldiers, prisoners of war forced to work in mining basalt in Janowa Dolina, murdered by Germans in 1943". (NB Might not be the exact wording). Info from Ks Czajka.
