						18of23. The first morning my husband and I were in Poland we went out for an early morning walk. The sun was just rising so these photos were taken of the monument with the sun in the east. I wanted to be there when it was quiet before that part of the city came to life.

						"Monument for the Fallen and Murdered in the East" in Warsaw, Poland. "Pomnik Poleglym i Pomordowanym na Wschodzie", Warszawa. Sculptor: Maksymilian Biskupski. Located on Muranowska Street in Warsaw, the bronze cast monument includes an authentic railway track and railroad carriage like those used by the Soviets for deportation.
