						From the album of Captain Mieczysław Wozniak (1918-1972) who was a a Polish cadet of the class of 1938 and served in the Polish Navy for the duration of WW2. Following a service at the Catholic Church in Plymouth, he had a traditional naval burial at sea from the Royal Navy destroyer HMS Caprice.

He became the youngest recipient of the French Legion D'Honneur for heroism at Casablanca in 1939 when the French mine-laying cruiser blew up whilst unloading mines killing 186 and causing much port damage.
