Serce Batiara by Emmanuel Schlecter
In English "Batiar heart". Batiar was an archetypal Lwów character , a good hearted ruffian derived from the hungarian "Betiar" a Robin Hood type figure. the song would have been the title song for the 3rd Szczepko and Tońko comedy film planned for 1939 but never made due to World War 2 the songwriter died in the Holocaust, see http://kresy-siberia.org/won/?page_id=19&lang=en&text=schlechter&id=157577

First Communion
My Father Jerzy Augustyn's Communion. I have no idea where. Maybe in Czyszki where his Uncle Aureli Wiktor Augustyn was a priest. 1940? I can only guess times and places as all these photos were found when my mother died, twenty years after my father died...
