Henry Fedukowicz in Maglia, Italy 1/1/1945
Henry Fedukowicz is standing on the right. He was born in Nowonikolajewsk,on 1 January 1919, the only son of Justin and Valeria. He was in the Anders Army 15th Regiment of Poznan Lancers, 2nd Polish Corps and fought at Monte Cassino. Henryk served from July 1941 to August 1948. This photo of Henry Fedukowicz is published in the book "Bitwa o Monte Cassino" by Melchior Wankowicz and is on page 351. It is the one volume version. The caption reads a shelter at Passo Corno. There is an interesting story about Henry and his friend Mielczarek on pages 350 and 352.
