My Grandmother shortly before her death in Uzbekistan after her release from Siberia. My Grandfather glued this tiny photo (passport size) on the back of the piece of paper with the previous photo. My mother told me he carried this with him all his life. My Grandmother died in Uzbekistan.

Juliusz Aleksander Roman Bielski (then aged 78 years) and his wife Eleanor Maria Jadwiga (nee Jablonowska) were deported from Lwow in April 1940 to Semipalatynsk Oblast, Station Angestobe, Zarminskij Rajon, Sowjoz Krasnyj Skolowod. This drawing of "ferma Michajlowka, Palatinskaja Oblast" was drawn by, and sent with a letter from, Eleanor back to Lwow. This is where Eleanor and Juliusz lived during their exile.

This is page 1 of a 2 page handwritten letter from Eleanor back to a friend still in Lwow. It refers a "Gusia" (her daughter Jadwiga) and children (Jerzy Krasicki and his brother).
