My wife and I were decorated with the "Krzyz Zeslancow Sybiru" by the Consul for Manchester, Piotr Nowotniak, at our home in Llansannan, on 8 June 2010. The whole ceremony was extremely unusual because, both: the Consul and vice-consul, Mr. Szymon Bialek, came specially to our bungalow, with two bouquets of flowers, to decorate both of us with the "Krzyz Zeslancow Sybiru", on behalf the late President Lech Kaczynski, who had awarded, as certified and confirmed No. 7-2008-144 & 7-2008-145, those crosses on 29 August 2008.
