Three Polish submarines ORP Zbik, ORP Sep and ORP Rys interned in Sweden from September 1939 - Marielund, Sweden until 1945. Andrzej Sadowski's father, Kazimierz Sadowski, was the Torpedo Officer aboard ORP Zbik.
