Group of children rescued from the Soviet Union
Group of children rescued from the Soviet Union in one of the orphanages organized by the Polish Army in Persia. Woman in glasses is my mother Wiktoria Morawska. Infant held by woman to my mother's right is her son, yours truly - Ted Morawski. Since I was born in Isfahan, Iran on Oct. 14, 1942, the picture was most likely taken in 1943.
