Other Information: Pan Mieczysław wraz z rodzicami i rodzeństwem przeżył całą II wojnę światową na Kresach. Mieszkając w Czabarówce - wsi rusińsko-polskiej zostali ostrzeżeni przez sąsiadkę Ukrainkę w 1943 r., że powinni uciekać bo zostaną zamordowani przez nacjonalistów ukraińskich. Wraz z innymi Polakami rodzina Bilińskich uciekła do Husiatynia. Stamtąd w 1946 r. repatriowali się na tzw. Ziemie Odzyskane.
