Other Wartime Circumstances

Other Information: Roman V. Skulski was conscripted into the Russian Army in April 1941, on his twentieth birthday. He escaped in 1942 and located Anders' Army in Guzar. In Teheran, he volunteered and was accepted for pilot training in the RAF (PAF) and travelled with 2,000 other Polish volunteers to the UK for flight training and also, in Roman's case, in Canada. He was in Squadron 304 at war's end.
