Description: Jozef served in the Polish armed forces in World War II and he was also in one or two POW camps. I was told that he was in one near Castrop-Rauxel in 1939. After the war he continued service with the British army as a foreman maintaining allied troop tanks until 1955. In 1956 he moved with his family to the United States.
