Other Information: Both she and her brother Boleslaw worked in the forest in Archangelsk, driving the horse-drawn carts that were used to transport the lumber. When they were released from the labour camp, they traveled south to find the Polish Army. Their step-mother died at the camp, and their baby brother Ryszard died on the journey south.
